Mila Ziska
Running away to the forest.
The leaves under your feet, the fresh air in your lungs, and the golden light breaking through the tree canopy. Close your eyes, and you can almost picture it. Mila Ziska’s music will give listeners this exact feeling.
Having grown up in a family of traditional folk musicians and dancers, she draws inspiration from her musical roots as well as from Mother Nature herself, and the fragile beauty of the world around us. The result is best described as candid Folk-Pop, enchanting audiences with delicate melodies, poetic lyrical touches, and colorful pop hooks.
Having studied Songwriting at the acclaimed British and Irish Modern Music Institute in Berlin, Mila recently relocated to Scotland.
Mila has performed a number of gigs and festivals across the UK, Scandinavia, Italy and Germany, most notably at Celtic Connections and the Kaustinen Folk Music Festival, the Open Art Lausitz Festival, the Fête de la Musique in Berlin, the Tooth & Claw in Inverness and at The Fiddler in London. Furthermore, Mila’s songs have been featured on German radio station Sunray FM, Dash radio by Soundcloud and Prospect Radio. Mila already has a number of musical releases under her belt, including her debut EP 'Woodlands', which was released in August of 2022 and is currently sitting at well over 400,000 streams on Spotify alone.
The autumn of 2024 brought Mila's second, highly anticipated, EP 'A Long Way To Go', which was very well received by her fanbase. Mila’s latest project ‘Only Stillness’, a collaborative seasonal EP, was released in November of 2025. This release was accompanied by a tour of Scotland, with the Germany leg of the tour following in January 2026.

Aufgewachsen in einer Familie bestehend aus traditionellen Folk-Musikern und Tänzern und immerzu inspiriert von der Natur, und ihrer Vergänglichkeit und Beständigkeit, kreiert die junge Berlinerin eine ganz besondere Art von Folk-Pop. Ihre Zuhörerschaft verzaubert sie dabei stets mit ihrer zarten Stimme, poetisch anmutenden Texten und eingängigen Kompositionen.
Mila hat am renommierten British and Irish Modern Music Institute Songwriting studiert und um sie hat sich seitdem eine treue Fangemeinde aufgebaut, on- sowie offline.
Sie hat bereits eine Reihe von erfolgreichen Livestreams in Kollaboration mit der US-Amerikanischen Booking- und Managementfirma High Plateau Productions gespielt und tritt regelmäßig bei verschiedensten Konzerten und Festivals im Vereinigten Königreich, Italien, Skandinavien und Deutschland auf, unter anderem beim Celtic Connections und Kaustinen Folk Music Festival in Finnland, dem Open Art Lausitz Festival, im nhow Music Hotel in Berlin und im ‘The Fiddler’ in London. Ebenso kann man Milas Songs regelmäßig auf verschiedensten Radiosendern hören, wie beispielsweise Dash Radio, einem Sender die beliebten Streaming-Platform Soundcloud, sowie dem Internet-Sender Sunray FM, bei dessen Hörerschaft Mila große Beliebtheit genießt. Mila hat bereist eine Mehrzahl an musikalische Veröffentlichungen hinter sich, unter anderem ihre Debut-EP 'Woodlands', welche im August 2022 erschien und alleine auf Spotify bereits weit über 400.000 Mal gestreamt wurde.
Der Herbst 2024 brachte Milas zweite EP, 'A Long Way To Go', welche von Milas Fans sehr positiv aufgenommen wurde. Im November 2025 folgte die EP ‘Only Stillness’, ein kollaboratives Projekt zwischen mehreren Musikerinnen. Dieser Release wurde begleitet von einer Schottland-Tour, und eine weitere Tour in Deutschland folgte im Januar 2026.
